The Formats

Four kinds of room

Each gathering serves a different purpose. None of them are open. All are held under the council's discretion.

Private Dinners

Eight to twelve at the table. A single host. No phones, no notes, no service after the second course. Held in members' homes and one or two private rooms across the island.

Closed-Door Roundtables

A single subject, brought by a member or invited principal. Two hours, Chatham House rules. Material under discussion does not leave the room — physically or otherwise.

Ibiza Retreats

Three days, twice a year. A villa above the southern coast. Walks in the morning, work sessions through midday, the long table at night. Spouses welcome on the second evening.

Investment Salons

Quarterly. A member presents a thesis or an opportunity to the room. There is no pitch, no deck — only a conversation, and the council's standing rule that nothing closes in the room.

The Year in Six Movements

A rhythm members keep — and a horizon members plan around.

    Opening dinner of the year. Inland finca, twelve seats, a long evening.

    April · Salon I

    Quarterly investment salon — typically real assets and Mediterranean property.

    June · The Solstice Retreat

    Three days, southern coast. Members and the council, in residence.

    September · Salon II

    Salon — private markets, operating businesses, succession.

  5. X

    October · The Autumn Roundtable

    One subject, two hours, no record. Held in Old Town.

  6. XII

    December · The Closing Dinner

    Marina rooms. The council's annual address. The seats are reaffirmed.


The Rooms

Where We Meet

Discreet venues across the island. No fixed address. No public listings. Each location is selected for privacy first, atmosphere second.

Private Villas

Above the southern coast and inland from the spine of the island.

Old Fincas

Stone houses near Santa Gertrudis — for slower evenings.

Marina Rooms

Private dining at Marina Ibiza, kept off the calendar.

Rooftops

A handful of rooms in Dalt Vila, with the harbour below.
